In October when the olive groves are being prepared for the harvest a lot of pruning is done of young branches and new shoots which get tangled up with the nets that are laid down to collect the falling olives. From these cuttings a lot of olives are collected, young olives that create the Pendici oil. There isn’t a huge amount and normally it would be kept in house and not sold commercially.
A classic olive oil made using traditional and modern techniques. Like all our oils it is an organic extra-virgin olive oil of very low acidity with a refined organoleptic quality.
Characteristics: Organic. Acidity- 0.2 %. Golden colour with tints of green, fruity yet delicate aroma, neither bitter or spicy but soft and certainly not aggressive. Very good with white fish and salads.
